“1:12 Mother Cat & Kitten” (2022)

Mother cat was made using a Kaiyodo Choco Maine Coon Cat model pressed in Cosclay. Kitten was hand-sculpted and micro-tooled from Cosclay. Both cats have applied coats of synthetic/wool fiber and wire-based tails which can be gently posed.

“1:12 Longhaired Calico Cat” (2022)

Original Cat loaf form was hand-sculpted by the artist in polymer clay. Next, a 2-part press mold was made of the original sculpture and reproduced using Cosclay. The dilute calico fur pattern was applied with glue using a combination of natural & synthetic fibers and flock.

“Little Unicorn” was customized in 2015 from a Schleich Tinker Foal model #13774

The unicorn was created using a pvc Schleich Tinker Foal model #13774. Addition of a hand-sculpted polymer clay horn. Coat was applied with glue using natural wool fibers and flock.

“Walking Grey & White Cat” was made in 2018 using a generic rubber cat model

Cat was made using a generic commercial rubber model. The grey and white life-like coat was applied with glue incorporating both natural and faux fibers. Tail is wire-based and can be gently posed.

This cub was made by customizing a pvc Schleich Jaguar Cub model. A coat of alpaca fibers was applied with glue and tiny spots and rosettes were hand-painted onto the coat’s surface using heat-set artist inks.

Owl was made by customizing (carving down) a pvc CollectA Barn Owl model. Both flock and cut-to-size feathers were applied to the surface using glue. Details were hand-painted onto the surface using heat-set artist inks.

Ducks were made by customizing a pair of generic plastic models. Wire legs and polymer clay feet were fashioned and attached. Each duck’s surface coat is a combination of white powder-fine flock and cut-to-size feathers applied with glue.
